From CHAOS To EXCEPTIONALISM!
Using two words makes the difference between CHAOS and EXCEPTIONALISM: “NEVERTHELESS/BUT!”
Here are the Examples of EXCEPTIONALISM because they chose to be DIFFERENT From Their Environment.
1) EXCEPTIONAL Follower of God, Caleb: “(Other leaders made the hearts of the people melt in fear), NEVERTHELESS I wholly followed the Lord my God” (Joshua 14:8).
2) EXCEPTIONALLY Faithful Samuel: “(God rejected Saul), NEVERTHELESS Samuel (cried out to God for Saul)” (I Samuel 15:35).
3) EXCEPTIONALLY Good David: “(David’s longing was fulfilled by his three generals in fetching water from Bethlehem’s entrance), NEVERTHELESS he poured it in the ground because he put the lives of those friends in danger” (II Samuel 23:15-17).
4) EXCEPTIONAL Son of God, Jesus: “O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me, NEVERTHELESS not as I will, but as You will” (Matthew 26:39).
5) Peter’s EXCEPTIONAL Obedience to The Word: “Master, we have toiled all the night…NEVERTHELESS, at Your Word, I will let down the net” (Luke 5:5).
6) Children of God from the Children of the World: “The world did not know Him…BUT as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the Children of God” (John 1:10-12).
7) Life of Power Over the Life of Chaos: “(You do not know the times or the seasons), BUT you shall receive POWER after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you” (Acts 1:7-8).
“Heavenly Father, I surrender to You. Please make me an EXCEPTION from the environment of Chaos. I will follow You and not the world. I will be faithful in praying for those who need You. I yield to doing Your Will. I will be Your Child with Faith, Love, and Power. In Your Precious Name, Amen!”
