A WELL-OILED, CHOSEN LEADER!
“I have found David, My servant; with holy oil I have anointed him” (Psalm 89:20).
God Anointed Leaders - Prophets, Priests, and Kings. Here are the distinctions of a WELL-OILED CHOSEN LEADER:
1) God Has Anointed You for Special Leadership as David Was Anointed: (“Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward” (I Samuel 16:13).
2) You Have Chosen and Yielded to The Lord as Your Shepherd: (“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want,” Psalm 23:1), and He Fills Your Cup (“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over,” Psalm 23:5).
3) Willing to Take Rebuke and Correction from Godly Counsel as the Oil of Medicine: (“Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness. And let him rebuke me; it shall be as excellent oil; let my head not refuse it,” Psalm 141:5).
4) Experience the Oil of Joy in Times of Mourning: (“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified,” Isaiah 61:1-3).
5) Love What Is Good and Hate What is Wrong for the Increase of the Oil of Gladness: “You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions,” (Psalm 45:7).
6) Have the Abundance of Healing Oil the Good Samaritan Carried to Heal the Wounded: (“A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among [a]thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him’” (Luke 10:30-34).
7) You Continue to Be a Shining Light with Your Lamps Always Burning: (“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually,” Exodus 27:20).
8) You Are Staying Close to God For (Oil Change) - Fresh and Restoring Anointing: (“But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil,” Psalm 92:10).
“Heavenly Father, I Love You and Adore You. I Am Immensely Grateful for Your Calling and Anointing Upon My Life. Please Anoint Me Afresh to Stay with You and Close to You In Your Holy Presence And Always. In Your Precious Name I Pray, Amen!”
